| Konawa Reservoir |

Konawa Reservoir in south-central Oklahoma is located just east of the town of Konawa. Konawa Reservoir has 20 miles of shoreline and 1,350 surface acres. This power plant lake is a trophy largemouth bass lake with a 16 to 22 inch slot limit. Konawa Lake is consistently near the top of the list of the Wildlife Department’s electrofishing survey as far as number of bass per hour.

Oklahoma is also home to some of the best fishing lakes in the country with more miles of shoreline than any other state. If you like the water, a canoe trip down the Illinois River or Upper Mountain Fork River is a must. Visit the Arbuckle Mountains area, located about an hour and a half south of Oklahoma City, and you will find crystal clear water springs and rivers.
Look around the site and find something to do, then get outside and enjoy the Great Oklahoma Outdoors!
