American Horse Lake in western Oklahoma is located 10 miles west of Geary. American Horse Lake has 7 miles of shoreline and 100 surface acres. American Horse Lake, an Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation lake, is a great lake for fishing. The water clarity in this lake is amazing, and you can see largemouth bass everywhere. This little lake reaches depths of 70 feet.

American Horse Lake is currently closed for repairs.

      I heard the Dam repairs are done, but they are waiting for it to fill up before they reopen it.
