Lake Carlton in southeastern Oklahoma is located just north of Wilburton.  Lake Carlton has 2 miles of shoreline and 46 surface acres.  Lake Carlton is located inside Robbers Cave State Park, a former hideout for outlaws.  This scenic spot is a favorite among rappellers and cave explorers, there is also plenty of fishing, camping, and hiking spots
