Hiking in Oklahoma is a great outdoor activity with 12 distinct ecosystems you can hike all kinds of different terrain. The Turner Falls area and the Chickasaw National Park both have great hiking trails along with crystal clear springs and streams. There are rugged hiking trails in the Wichita Mountains, and another favorite for hiking is in the pine covered Ouachita National Forest in the southeastern part of Oklahoma. Many of the lakes in Oklahoma also have hiking and nature trails.
