Kiamichi River runs around 165 miles flowing through Hugo Lake near the town of Hugo.

The Kiamichi begins between SH 88 and SH 63 just south of the Talimena Scenic Drive along the Oklahoma-Arkansas border, and then it flows under SH 63 to US Highway 259 near Big Cedar in the Ouachita National Forest.
