Mountain Lake in south-central Oklahoma is located a couple miles north of Woodford. Mountain Lake has 5 miles of shoreline and 210 surface acres. This little lake holds several slots on the top 20 largemouth bass list caught in Oklahoma, and a previous state record. Mountain Lake is closed from November 1 through March 1. They have 2 man boats with a trolling motor for rent for $40 per day. Reservations are recommended for the weekends, since only a limited amount of small boats are allowed at one time.

West of 1-35 at exit #42. Go west on 53 about 8 miles, then turn right (north) on Woodford Rd., which turns into Mountain Lake Rd.
