Wister Lake in eastern Oklahoma is located just south of Wister. Wister Lake has 115 miles of shoreline and 7,300 surface acres. Wister Lake is located by Wister State Park in the San Bois Mountains and just on the north edge of the Ouachita National Forest. The fishing is great, and hunting is available at the near by Wister WMA.
